Our Story
After obtaining their Certified Lactation Counselor certificates, Jennifer and Nicolle founded Nips and Babes in September 2019. Nips and Babes was created to bridge the gap between the doula need and the postpartum supports available in Dane County by offering free/sliding scale culturally relevant services to birthing individuals and their families.
Mission
Our mission is to provide services that are equitable and accessible to all through prenatal education, birth, lactation and postpartum support.
Vision
Our vision is to inform, support and amplify the voices of POC birthing and postpartum bodies to reduce the infant and maternal morbidity and mortality rates in our community.
