Our Story
When Nicolle Hill, founder of Nips and Babes, saw a need in the community for accessible doula services, she recognized the growing misconception that doulas and their services were only for those who had access and financial resources. Passionate about the importance of doulas, Nicolle founded Nips and Babes to bridge the gap between the need for doula and postpartum support and the resources available in Dane County. Launched in September 2019, Nips and Babes began offering free, culturally relevant services to birthing individuals and their families.
Mission
Provide services that are equitable and accessible to all through prenatal education, birth, lactation and postpartum support.
Vision
Inform, support and amplify the voices of POC birthing and postpartum bodies to reduce the infant and maternal morbidity and mortality rates in our communities.
